George Patria

TEACHES: SINGING, FLUTE, PIANO

George is a performer, teacher and actor-musician with over 5 years experience teaching. 

 

George's training comprises of: Musical Theatre at The Jam Academy, BA Actor Musicianship at the London College of Music as well as obtaining Flute Diploma LCME.

Outside of teaching, George will often be found writing music, playing all of their instruments and performing on stage. Some of their credits include performing in actor-musician shows, “The Double Digit Ceremony” at the Bread and Roses Theatre, “Confessions, Battles and Apples” at the Cockpit, “John and Jen” at Laurence Hall and at festivals such as Pub In The Park Marlow and CarFest. As well this, George has appeared as a flute player in Symphonic Ibiza at Foodies Festival and the musical Pippin.

 

Being in the industry as a performer allows George to stay updated on techniques and research, as well as having a deep understanding of what is relevant in the industry. George is passionate about providing a safe space for their students to build confidence, in tandem with technique, to give them tools to be brilliant wherever they want to go in life.

     A. Carrot because they are versatile (they can go in salads and cakes)

    A. Sweet - I would eat chocolate for every meal if I could

 

Q.Would you rather have fingers for toes or toes for fingers?​ 

    A. Fingers for toes, far more practical !
